Carousel Center Mall is located in Syracuse, New York, across from the Regional Transportation Center; two hours from Rochester and Canada. Owned and operated by the Pyramid Corporation, Carousel Center Mall is a six-level mall with a sky-lit center court flanked by four glass elevators. There is easy access to Carousel Center Mall from Route 81. Carousel Center Mall is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with extended holiday hours.
Carousel Center Mall is the largest retail location in the greater Syracuse area with six anchor stores and over 100 stores and specialty shops. Anchor stores at Carousel Center Mall are Best Buy, The Bon Ton, H & M, JCPenney, Kaufmann’s, and Lord & Taylor. Carousel Center Mall also features nearly a dozen children’s stores, over 20 apparel and specialty apparel selections, several jewelry stores, and eight electronics stores. The third-level food court at Carousel Center Mall showcases a full-sized carousel set on a glass-enclosed balcony over the mall’s main entrance. Carousel Center Mall’s fourth level is a Regal Cinema 17 with neighboring mini-arcade. Skydeck on Carousel Center Mall’s sixth level provides a scenic and comfortable venue for private parties and business events.
There are more restaurants at Carousel Center Mall than any other area mall. Dine-in restaurants in Carousel Center Mall include Mozzarella’s American Café, Pizzeria Uno, Ruby Tuesdays, and Hooters. Carousel Center Mall’s food court choices run the gamut and include Wendy’s, Subway, Arby’s, Taco Bell, Cajun Café, and Japan Café Grill, as well as several ice cream and snack stands. There are three specialty coffee shops and two chocolatiers in Carousel Center Mall to tickle your taste buds.
Pyramid has announced plans to expand Carousel Center Mall in the near future to become DestiNY USA, and plans to include, among other things, an indoor amusement park.
