Westfield South Shore Mall is located at 1701 Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore, NY. From the Long Island Expressway, Take Sagtikos Parkway South, when the road forks take eastbound to get on the Southern State Parkway. From the Southern State below take the Southern State to exit 42S onto Fifth Avenue. At the stop sign make a left onto Spur Drive. Go straight through the intersection, continuing on Spur Drive for three long blocks, about .75 mile. Make a right at flashing light this is EastForks Road. The Shoppingtown is approximately 1/2 mile on the left.
The Westfield South Shore Mall has a somewhat smaller selection of shops than its sister mall, Westfield Sunrise, but makes up the difference with its numerous restaurants. Anchored by 4 major department stores; Macy’s, Sears, JCPenney and Lord & Taylor, the South Shore Mall also has 24 stores for men’s and women’s fashions, including Aeropostale, American Eagle and Ann Taylor Loft. Complimenting this are 3 shops for children’s clothing and 4 shoe stores. In addition, there are 14 jewelry and accessories stores, 11 health and beauty shops and 19 stores for cards, books, gifts, electronics and music.
South Shore Mall has 22 restaurants in its food court and elsewhere in the mall including Friendly’s, International House of Pancakes, Ragin Cajun and the full service restaurant, Boulder Creek Steakhouse.
The South Shore Mall’s hours of operations are from 10 am to 9:30 pm, Monday through Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm on Sundays. There are extended hours during the holidays and the mall is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
